How do we reduce scorpions around a house on granite?
You cannot remove the rock, but you can break the chain from rock to house. Move woodpiles, stone stacks and stored timber away from the walls, cut back plants touching the building, fit tight door sweeps and seal the slab edge and utility penetrations, and reduce bright outdoor lighting that draws the insects scorpions hunt. That does more than perimeter spraying alone.

They gather sticks, cactus, wire, insulation and anything shiny into large nests in rock crevices, sheds and even engine bays, and they chew wiring — which makes them a genuine cost rather than a nuisance.
