The housing splits the city in half. West of Havana you have 1950s and 1960s stock built for Lowry and Fitzsimons — crawl spaces, unsealed floor drains, original window wells that collect black widows and mice all season. East of Tower Road it is post-2000 slab-on-grade on ground that was farmland five years ago, which sounds cleaner but comes with its own list: voles chewing new sod, western yellowjackets nesting in fresh landscape berms, and elm seed bugs massing on hot south-facing stucco every July.
